Is Indonesia The True Gateway To Paradise?

Tonya answers

Without a doubt, Indonesia holds a raw beauty that makes it a sight to behold. Perhaps that is the reason why tourists and locals have found solace in the white sandy beaches and clear sea— to the point where the district government is trying to develop the island to be a tourism hotspot.

With 99 islands in total, this group of islands is surrounded by crystal clear waters, beautiful coral reefs, and plenty of colorful fish that makes diving and snorkeling so popular amongst visitors.

“Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world and is made up of more than 17,000 islands; however, often when people think of Indonesia, all that comes to mind is Bali. “

Top landmarks that you should visit

Indonesia is home to 20% of the world’s coral reefs and some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling you can find. There are many opportunities available for beginner and experienced divers, with lots of gear rental shops and liveaboard trips and more being offered. Indonesia also has a lot of shipwrecks off its shores, which make for interesting dives. It’s almost a shame to visit Indonesia and not get your feet wet.

And there is fire too….

Indonesia is located in what is called “the Pacific rim of fire” which is one of the most active volcanic areas in the world.

The country alone has 150 volcanoes. It also boasts some of the most gorgeous sunsets in the world with one of the best being seen from Mount Penanjakan overlooking the famous Mt Bromo Volcano.
